About Anatole

Dr. Anatole Ruslanov is a naturally gifted mystic, healer, and teacher.

Dr. Anatole has completed full monastic education in India, which included training at a tantra yoga academy in Varanasi where he studied under the direction of one of the greatest spiritual masters of 20th century. Dr. Anatole has been practicing tantra yoga meditation sadhana for nearly 30 years and teaching for over 20 years.

Dr. Anatole founded Modern Seers, Inc. (formerly Abhidhyan Yoga Institute) in 1991 and is the originator of Abhidhya'na Yoga (macromeditation), Abhidhya'na Insight Meditation, Abhidhya'na Yoga Philosophy, and Abhidhya'na Yoga Community.

In 1999 Anatole has experienced a radical transformation of his perception of reality. As we recognize our divine nature, we bring into being a new world where everything is open, available and possible.

Anatole has a baccalaureate degree in mathematics and a doctorate in computer science. He is currently employed as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences of State University of New York at Fredonia.

Dr. Anatole’s involvements and personal interests include:

1. A no-nonsense approach to spirituality that embraces our complete humanity, both flawed and divine;

2. Spirituality divested of religious dogma;

3. Tantra yoga meditation teaching and teacher training;

4. Natural, organic food and living foods, including spontaneous cooking as a spiritual practice;

5. Energy-efficient, ecologically-sound community living;

6. Energy medicine;

7. Economics based on recognition that we are both spiritual and physical custodians of this interconnected universe;

8. Non-dual spirituality and spiritual practice.

9. Practice of science as a spiritual path.
